Holiday Fun Run

Gary and I ran the Holiday Fun Run out at John's this morning. It was so great to see so many runners out there, and to run in some great company. It was just what it was described as, a "fun run". No fees, and it wasn't a race, but we did get some free socks and a t-shirt! It was nice to run for more than just a couple miles which is all I have been doing since the marathon. I can't believe I am saying this, but I miss the training. Even the early morning runs in the cold and dark. I have been doing some swimming to help keep my fitness levels up, but somehow it is not giving me the same satisfaction as running does. I wonder, at what point did I turn from a swimmer to a runner?
